Not me! The stash :

That is what I gave Goodwill last week. Stopped counting after I passed 110, 100gm skeins and 9, 50 gm balls. There was Brown Sheep, Classic Elite 50/50 llama & wool, Cherry Tree Pot Luck, vintage Handsome Harry and even the Briggs & Little Aran weight which I swatched for Columbia.
It was time to admit that they ( and the ones I turfed in the garbage) stopped making me happy, long ago. There's another ~10 kgs. that I'm ambivalent about. Might list them on Ravelry later, after I've taken pictures.
In real life, I'm a yo-yo dieter, so it shouldn't surprise you that I've started filling up the empty space left by the destashing :

Guess you know whose stash that came from eh, Lorraine? My supplier pusher Our mutual friend is a bad influence on me and I've stayed awake with her ~10 nights in the last two weeks. Those people, at least those on EDST, must be Vampires.
In case some of you think it's just another of my crazy ideas :

Another practise piece to see which method was most comfortable for me. OMG! I should have listened to you people who recommended 2 circulars earlier ;-)
After a few rows of using 2 circulars, the sock I was supposed to knit while on vacation in Mexico (2005?) :

was brought out of hibernation and this is what it looks like now :

I REALLY do not like short rows. Transferred the heel sts to 3 dpns as per suggestion. D@mn needle slipped out when there were a few sts on it. Might have lost a wrap or two. Had to "close" one hole already and I think there's another that is big enough to bother me.
Will it be too weird if I did a toe up with heel flap for the other side? If that doesn't work, I'll go back to cuff down. Thank goodness there's a lot of yardage in Wollmeise! |
